How Do You Fight On Poptropia?

One more reason to vote for the Right! The modesty of the constitutional court

Nothing gay in the party. The commissioner of the Lazio Region Teodoro Buontempo sure did not want to discriminate against anyone, but he wants to "preserve" the image of the hard right and pure. "Why join the gay party - told KlausCondicio - we would give a bad example to the collective imagination, a sharing of values \u200b\u200bthat we have in our DNA." During an interview with the program of study by Klaus Davi, Buontempo put stakes through the entries in the party. In that case would be incompatible. "

Trench Foot Discovery

The letter of yesterday (and that perhaps one day will come) ... and be happily

If you work in a library can happen to have in his hands a letter like this.
If you work in a library, you may have read, although a part of you feels guilty, as if he were browsing in the privacy of others.
But if you work in a library, you say that you do for work, and laws.

"For a week I was given the title of doctor , but I must say that I do not feel different from before [...] In fact, maybe now I'm a bit 'worried because they seem to be blocked the assumptions: I want to stay in the institution where I made the claim and will work willingly, but the idea of \u200b\u200bit scares me a little free '[...] I'm in these days as the habit of writing has been lost, must be the fault of the hectic life that we have to do and the postal service: in fact seem to those legendary times when a letter arrived after three days [...] Vicenza is a city that can not well appear in everyday life: the few times I was there I always had the ' impression that it was empty ... "

And when you finish it and throw our eyes to the date, you get a little shiver down my spine.

November 3, 1974

think that these same words could be written today. That the concerns of that time seem the same. What is it for you (including the postman).
But nearly four decades have passed, most of your life, and we're back to square one.
And you wonder when things will never change.

This letter was found between the pages of a book by Piero Nardi. To write is a niece, which I do not feel that much different.
Nardi was a teacher and literary critic Vicenza. A rethink his life, see his personal library full of books with autographs of friends and pen of letters, some 'hope you are. Read the dedications of Giorgio Bassani of Eugenio Montale of Sibilla , full of affection and gratitude, and smile.
But those were other times , as Nardi decided to entitle his autobiography. Times when the culture still mattered - and had universally, not just for you. Working in a library you do not know for how much, and do not want to remember how.

Hoping one day to write a letter other than this.

Spanish Wedding Program Wording

(book) schizophrenic

The 'Bags Minerva "by Umberto Eco are always illuminating .
The last I read, on 27 January, it has been in a particular way.
because I realized that even the specialist would have done good, saving me long dissertations on years of my life lying in uncomfortable chairs (which are not used more) and the giving disproportionate share of € (who is still used, and how).
quote:

"The world of receipt (of those who rejoice various creative ideas) is extremely varied. I do not believe that those who worship the Tamaro go crazy for "Finnegans Wake".

Ricordo ancora un'amica bibliotecaria che, a pranzo con altre colleghe in front of a plate of meatballs and broccoli in the middle of a dissertation by librarian book, he exclaimed: "I have read all the books in the Twilight saga, and I say this publicly with great pleasure! months were not a reading I enjoyed that. " I know for a fact that the same person he counts among his readings of diametrically opposed, which Eco would call immediately radical chic. But why should we stop being good horsemen and literary schizophrenia if this gives us pleasure, we have fun, makes us feel good?
Everyone - some more than others - their hidden passions. I own banned books: those readings that do not admit it, but we have fun molto più di tanti pamphlet radical chic.
E recentemente qualche Dan Brown's meatloaf I've read it, with some amusement. But James Joyce Dubliners remain one of the works I was most marked. This is just to mention cited by Professor Echo: I would still, thankfully.
only remains for me a single problem. Who knows me, I always set my character to be polar opposites eclecticism. How, now, to explain to them that are actually schizophrenic?

Forgiveness Definition Poems

The librarian will not remove any book from the shelves ever!

I think Paradise orc of Pennac has been one of my prime letture post adolescenziali.
And at the end of the day I think, the Witch, after all it is better to drink it rather than do a lot of controversy.
I do not know what to think instead of Madame Frédérique Audouin-Rouzeau because I do not know. Instead, what I think is that Fred Vargas is a fantastic author of mystery novels that have kept me awake at night, accompanied in many hours on the train, on holiday, in bed.
And this is what I think - and I will continue to think - of the many others who came with me this far, and that there will in the future. The ruthless inquisitor Eymerich Valerio Evangelisti. The beautiful monster bye love, hello Massimo Carlotto. The sixteenth century Q Luther Blissett (Wu Ming).
Someone today said that these books should be removed from our shelves. Some time ago, they would say burn them.
Has anyone else thought to the events of history that can not be forgotten, even if you would like. I can think of Fahrenheit 451 . In the novel, Bradbury's salvation lay in people's heads, in their ability to memorize. But today memorize things - let alone the words, even a poem - no longer in fashion. Do not teach even more. Result: no salvation.
Still, the restorers say that paper, when it burns, however, leaves something in what remains. What the ash can still be found information, although small and minimal. I think I see William, who frantically tries to book some rest in the ashes of the abbey, the last pages of Name of the Rose . I wonder how pissed off today.
Maybe even that much, probably would take another book from the shelf and continue to do what he always did. Read.
Exactly what I'll do it too.
not stop loving the works of D'Annunzio in Fiume for his business. How can we not stop to read Leopardi because today someone might call a geek social with the hump. Simply put, their works excite me, and not ever stop doing that.
Books. Novels. Literature in short, contemporary fiction, or if you prefer. Pages, words. Culture. Among the few things that are going against us today - in our own way, in our small - the filth around us. The difficulties with every day, the void of insecurity and dissatisfaction. A small way of saying I'm different, to protest silently, or scream loudly I am free to know, to know and above all think.

free to read.

Brazillian Wax Images

Despite a climate that leads to a complete moral drift, the Constitutional Court has, again, had the decency not to endorse the bold thesis of those who raised the issue of constitutionality of rules that do not recognize the marriage if not for two people of opposite sex .
I must admit to being (positively) surprised and the decision announced two days ago, opens positive prospects for the future of the family which is a of the basic values \u200b\u200bof any civilized society.
The ruling of the Constitutional Court is even more important, as confirms not only the full legal legitimacy ( on the moral there is no doubt ) of the civil code which indicates that marriage is a contract between a man and a woman, but also the interpretation of that constitutional provision in favor of those who maintain the need for a man and a woman as essential parts of marriage .
We can say that even if a constitutional court usually too attentive to the "politically correct", confirms the traditional approach, then the hope you come out of this period is derived by limiting the damages may be based.

Flowers For My Life Nzb

Happy New Year from your Librarian ... their way!

Eh si, perchè lì dentro - un locus amoenus dove spesso e volentieri I just find their way there myself! - There is much of what has characterized my last 365 days. A book for all times and for every mood, for every challenge and every emotion.
And so, even the one just finished, I like to be remembered as another year full of books. Some wonderful discoveries, others to forget. Some good, some not. One year
never stop doing one of the few constants in my life precarious read.
one year was so exhilarating, with the first reading: Pride and Prejudice and zombies Seth Grahame-Smith. And done so well, and me with of Niccolo Ammaniti, closed only a few days ago. A small but valuable book which will undoubtedly speak, I entered the heart.
In between, a number of authors who, in one way or another, I'll bring back. By Alice Sebold, Anne Holt, by Stefan Zweig in Alan Bennett, from Margaret Mazzantini to Joseph Brodsky, to name a few (very few). Finding old friends, like Fred Vargas and Agatha Christie (in a new discovery this year as romantic), Tiziano Scarpa and Ian McEwan. Books to touch, smell, browse, and stress. Books that have stayed with me on my bedside table, which took me by train or bus, that have kept me awake because just can not bring myself to close . Some made me smile. Many think. More angry. A few - fortunately - I was bored. And some are not even able to finish it - but Pennac would agree with me (if you have not already done so, read his wonderful novel How ).
What remains for me is the scent of many, many pages. The memory of new emotions that only the writing and reading can give me. And a desire, or rather two.
The first: never stop excited by opening a book.
The second: to be able to get at least a hint of all this to you. You who make me the best gift: leggermi.
